Your privacy matters to us. We do not sell your data to third parties. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Who We Are
Lykha Solutions is the data controller for Sibol — a Philippine-based software company that develops and operates the Sibol POS platform.

2. Data We Collect
2.1 Account and Store Data

- Session data for maintaining login state

3. How We Use Your Data
- Provide and maintain the Sibol service
- Send account-related emails (welcome, password reset, important notices)
- Respond to support requests
- Improve the platform based on usage patterns
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not use your data for advertising, marketing profiling, or sell it to any third party.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers operated by Hostinger. Security measures include:
- All passwords hashed using bcrypt — we cannot read your password
- All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Database access restricted to the application only
- Regular automated backups
5. Your Customer Data
When you use Sibol's rewards program, you collect customer names and phone numbers. As the store owner, you are responsible for informing customers and obtaining appropriate consent. Lykha Solutions processes this data on your behalf as a data processor.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties except:
- Hostinger — our hosting provider (data storage)
- Legal compliance — if required by Philippine law or court order
7. Email Communications
We send transactional emails only — account approval, password reset, order void notifications, and important service announcements. We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent.
8. Data Retention
- Active accounts: retained for the duration of the subscription
- After cancellation: retained 30 days, then permanently deleted
- After plan expiry: retained 90 days on Free tier
- Server logs: retained 30 days
9. Your Rights
- Access — request a copy of your data
- Correction — update inaccurate information
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and data
- Portability — export your data in CSV format

10. Cookies
Sibol uses session cookies only — necessary for login state and security. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you via email before significant changes take effect.
